Arnold Schwarzenegger (Sort Of) Does The Harlem Shake For YouTube Comedy Week

As we all know, Arnold Schwarzenegger is a comedy legend. Who could forget his hilarious performances on Twins, Jingle All The Way and, best yet, The Expendables 2?

So when Arnie says something is funny, you listen, particularly when he is willing to participate in the Harlem Shake and even attempt Ben Stiller’s famous Blue Steel pose to make his point.

What has got him so excited, you may ask? Well, YouTube this week launched its first ever comedy week, and The Terminator star was more than happy to add his considerable muscle behind it.

Not that Arnie himself will be tuning in to watch seven days of brand new videos and live events from some of the biggest names in comedy. He simply does not have the time in between visits to the gym.

But Schwarzenegger is confident that with acts such as The Lonely Island, Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller all lined up this week, that it will be a week to remember.

Comedy Week started yesterday, prompting a huge surge in shares for this video. The ad has so far attracted over 3.1 million views and almost 40,000 shares since its release on May 13.

Arnie is back!

YouTube Releases Its Review Of The Year

Hasn't 2012 flown by? It seems like only yesterday that we were celebrating the start of the huge year which would see the UK host the Olympics and the Diamond Jubilee.

However, with the last 12 months flying past faster than an Austrian space diver, how could we possibly remember all the things that have happened this year? I can barely remember what happened yesterday, never mind back in January.

Now, obviously, there are the almost endless review shows on TV you can watch. But who wants to spend the festive period doing that? Well, don't worry, YouTube is here to help.

Following in the footsteps of Facebook, Twitter, and Google, the video sharing platform has released its own end-of-year review. But being YouTube, theirs is a little different.

Its video features all the biggest viral videos stars this year taking part in one large music video commemorating 2012. However, there are no prizes for guessing what soundtrack the video is set to.

The branded video has only got 16,500 shares so far, but we are sticking our necks out, and seeing this is going to be BIG!

Terry Crews Makes Muscle Music In Weirdest Old Spice Ad Yet

Just when you thought you'd seen it all, Old Spice have topped themselves with this phenomenally weird new advert.

Terry Crews is a one man band in 'Muscle Music', which is exactly what it sounds like... His muscles become some kind of drum kit, bulging out of his body in a way that seems, and probably is, humanly impossible.

Sat in what a appears to be a garage, wearing skimpy red shorts and surrounded by instruments, Crews' signature shout sets his muscles popping.

The Youtube clip leads viewers to the interactive Vimeo version where, once Crews has finished his solo muscle orchestra, you can have a go too.

No mention of the body wash is necessary, as Terry Crews has long been recognised as the face of some of Old Spice's weirder adverts. Muscle Music, however, is even stranger than Flex :30, where his biceps grow their own biceps.

Once again Old Spice have teamed up with Wieden + Kennedy to create the ad, with a little help from editing house Mackenzie Cutler and effects specialists The Mill.

Check it out, make your own muscle music, and prepare to be incredibly confused.

Prince Andrew, Tim Berners-Lee And Chad Hurley Grilled By Code-Hungry Kids

Kids these days seem to be able to get to grips with the latest of gadgets. But one after-school scheme is hoping to give them the skills to design the next generation of technology, and it's enlisted some famous friends to help get them started.

Code Club is an extra-curricular scheme that sees skilled volunteers teach youngsters aged between 10 and 11 the basics of computer coding. The programme hopes to get kids started in developing tech design skills.

Code Club yesterday partnered with Founders Forum, a global community of entrepreneurs, to produce a star-studded ad that encourages parents to get their schools involved in Code Club. They did it in just one day.

And it is quite a video, starring three code-keen kids interviewing the founder of some of the world's most successful tech businesses. The children question YouTube Co-Founder Chad Hurley about his credentials, while Skype founder Niklas Zennström is quickly dismissed. Even the inventor of the World Wide Web himself, Tim Berners-Lee doesn't meet their exacting standards.

Just when the kids seem to be be losing hope of finding their code guru, a chap called Andrew sits down, His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, the Duke Of York. At first the kids aren't too keen, they were hoping for Prince Harry, but they quickly warm to him.

Prince Andrew explains just how important a skill coding could be, but it's the people he knows that win him the job. Who are his influential contacts? Well, his mother for one.

The clip was put together by Founders Forum members in less than seven hours and released this morning, the ad has already won hundreds of views and drawn the attention of parents across the UK.

With a bit of luck the ad will help introduce Code Club to schools across the UK and help develop the country's next generation of tech entrepreneurs.
