The Oscars 2012: And The Winner Of The Best Picture Is........

Who needs to watch the Oscars - we already know which film is the best movie of the year.

No, we are not talking about which film craggy old men in dusty old rooms have decided is the winner this weekend.

We are talking about the one which has generated the most buzz on social media. In other words - the people’s choice.

Yep, thanks to us, you will not have to sit through the seemingly endless babble about dresses and hairstyles on Sunday. Thanks to us, you will not have to endure Billy Crystal’s terrible jokes. Thanks to us, you will not have to recoil in horror at Joan Rivers’ face.

Really, we deserve a knighthood. Anyway, enough of the talking, let’s open the metaphorical golden envelope and see which film’s trailer attracted the most buzz across the social web.

And the winners are...

7. War Horse

6. Midnight in Paris

5. Hugo

4. Moneyball

4.  War Horse

2. The Tree Of Life

1. The Artist

Jeremy Clarkson Spices Up New Forza Motorsport 4 Ad

What do you get when you cross video game Forza Motorsport with an Aston Martin, Top Gear's masterful camera team and Jeremy Clarkson? Well, the answer is this.

It's the latest ad for Xbox game Forza Motorsport 4, and is as breathtakingly beautiful as any video featuring the first man of motors, Jeremy Clarkson, can be. Thankfully, it's just his voice.

Clarkson was recently forced to ditch a campaign with sat-nav company TomTom due to his involvement in Top Gear, but, thankfully, video games do not breach the same strict rules.

This is great news. Controversial as he is, he is excellent in this latest ad, produced by 215mccann. To be honest, the only way this ad could be any better, is if The Stig himself was driving the Aston Martin.

Anyhow, a note to all you petrolheads out there, the tyre-squealing action you are about to see is pure fantasy, and in no way for the real world, however, much fun it may be.
