Kim, Kanye And Kevin Become KKK in VMA Ad

Kim and Kanye are one of the latest power couples to hit the scene - despite their relationship already having outlived Ms Kardashian's recent marriage.

Papped wherever they go, they've somehow still avoided giving much away about their relationship, except their colour co-ordinated outfits.

'Ye is set to star in the coming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and this advert for MTV's VMA awards is like a sneak peak inside the life of the super couple.

So absorbed in one another, they don't even hear VMA host Kevin Hart yelling at them from the bathroom as he stresses over what to wear.

The comedian jokes as he tries to join the new it couple, calling them the KKK (Kim, Kanye, Kevin - obviously) and asking Kardashian if she has a white hoodie.

Public reaction to the three turning up to host the VMAs dressed as the notorious racist clan might add some shock factor to the awards, and since the video has gained 784,671 views and 13,176 shares since launching last week, the idea seems to be proving surprisingly popular.

Icky MTV Ad Strikes A Chord

Some songs are instantly recognisible. It doesn't matter who is singing them, you know all the words and can sing along. This new ad is a little different, you may know the song, but what the hell is that singing?

This could be some rock music-inspired horror movie where, just before the horrifying finale, the creature burts into song. This Brazilian ad for MTV features some sort of living creature waving about to The Who's anthemic My Generation.

Is it singing along, dancing, or preparing to attack? Whatever this thing is, it loves to rock out.

As the song comes to an end, the camera moves away from the thing and out into the darkness, where we see an uncomfortable looking face blinking and retching.

It suddenly makes sense, the camera was down the poor chap's throat and we were watching his vocal cords as he sung along.

This "eeeew" but awesome ad was put together by Loducca, Sao Paulo and has so far earned over 22,600 views. With over 400 shares in just 5 days, the ad is just warming up for what we predict to be a rocking performance.

MTV Want To Help Get People Out Of The Friend-Zone

Chances are, at some point during your lifetime you’ll be placed squarely in the dreaded 'Friend Zone'.

No idea what it is? Well, it's basically that awkward prison you become trapped in when the girl or guy of your dreams just can’t accept you as anything more than, 'a really close friend'.

Well, MTV is challenging people to fight their way out of the Friend Zone in their newest reality show, called, errr, Friend-Zone.

As you’ll see from the clip, the premise is remarkably simple: Get someone who is firmly planted in the Friend Zone to admit their true feelings to the person they desire most and just wait to see what happens. If they reciprocate, then you’ve got a lovely, heart-warming story, and if they don’t, you’ve got car crash TV at its finest.

The show promises to be awash with tears of joy, tears of rejection, temper tantrums, racing hearts, excruciatingly awkward silences and the odd bemused look from a person whose best friend has just told them they’ve been secretly in love with them for the past few years.

Cringeworthy, embarrassing and addictive in equal measure, this is sure to be a hit for MTV.

Friend Zone starts this Saturday (February 18) at 12.30pm on MTV.

Hilarious MTV Video Campaign Proves You Can't Have Sex By Accident (Unless You Are A Cartoon Character)

Are these new videos from MTV part of a very funny safe sex PSA or the best advert for extreme sports ever made?

Well, apparently, they are for the former, so before you start thinking about buying a vespa, signing up for waterskiing lessons or jumping out of a plane in the hope of getting lucky, think again.

That's because these things never happen. Yep, I am sorry to tell you that you will never accidentally have sex with a passing stranger while falling off a Vespa.

Or accidentally end up having intercourse with an innocent bystander while waterskiing. Sorry to be the one to break it to you: Sex simply does not happen by accident. 

That being so, you really do not have any excuse for not using protection while having sex.

It's a message literally rammed home by Grey Germany in this new video campaign. After attracting a lot of praise for its print PSAs for MTV in the form of multipanel cartoons last year, which showed similarly ludicrous situations, the Dusseldorf agency decided to turn them into video clips.
