VW Promises Fathers They Will Keep Their Daughters Safe

Volkswagen has launched a touching new ad that shows the evolving relationship between a protective father and his beloved daughter.

The ad, created by DDB UK, tells the story of their relationship from the moment she is born, to the moment she leaves home - in a shiny new Polo.

It begins with the proud father holding his daughter in his arms for the first time. It then moves on to him teaching her how to walk, swim, ride a bike, and then that moment all dads dread - meeting her first boyfriend.

The final scene sees him helping her move out, but not before he passes her the keys to her new Volkswagen Polo. The lines reads, "Stay In Safe Hands - Polo, Small But Tough".

Dadverts are certainly popular this weekend, with Hovis also launching a spot.

The spot seems to be melting hearts online, with over 87,000 views and 870 shares already.
