Batlow Cider Harvest Ad Follows Ghetto-Blasting Farmers At Work

If you ever wondered how your favourite fruit is picked, here is some Australian insight into the art of apple picking. You may be pleasantly surprised at the level of care and attention taken.

It's for a new advert for Batlow Premium Cider and follows the story of Australia's finest fruit pickers as they grow and pick the finest apples for the production of their popular cider.

However, their technique is somewhat different to the norm.

They use the power of music to nurture their quality produce and, when it comes to harvest time, their secret is to stack the tractor to tipping point with speakers, then proceed to crank up the volume and vibrate the fruit from the tree.

I think if this was a real method, then fruit picking would be a much more appealing job, sadly it's not, so I'm staying put. Thanks must go to Glue Society, the ad agency behind this fruity ad as it's a great one.

Granny Smith herself would be jealous, I'm sure.
