Could A Speaking Cat Talk You Into Adopting It? New PSA 'I Want' Certainly Hopes So

Cats may have their fishy paws around the throat of the internet - but still thousands and thousands are abandoned by their owners every year.

This new PSA (below) by the Animal Humane Society hopes to change this by highlighting their terrible plight and urging viewers to adopt some of the many homeless kitties at their shelters.

Thankfully, judging by the amount of interest the video has already attracted, the call will not fall on deaf ears. In fact, the society is sure to be inundated with calls very soon.

And it's not hard to see why. Cats, after all, are the whiskery gods of YouTube. People just cannot get enough of them.

However, if you arm them with cute voices, sad eyes and sadder stories, then you really do have viral gold on your hands. 

I mean, why would anyone abandon a cat which can talk?

Anyway, the Animal Humane Society owe MAKE a big pat on the back for their pro-bono work creating this PSA, called 'I Want'.
