Naked Andy Murray Wants You To Like Him More, New HEAD Ad Almost Convinces Us

Andy Murray is a hard man to like. I have shoes with more personality than the miserable Scottish tennis player.

In fact, people in Britain dislike Murray so much, they do not even care if he won Wimbledon. And for a nation starved of a SW19 champ since well before World War II, that is not something they take for granted.

But a new social video campaign launched by HEAD Tennis this week hopes to change all that. The new ad, called 'Get Closer', shows a fictional day in the life of Andy Murray in which people clamour to 'Like' the tennis star - wherever he is. This includes one girl liking him while he is naked in the shower (but possibly not in the way you are thinking).

Of course, the point of the campaign is to generate 'Likes' for HEAD Tennis's Facebook page in the hope of 'getting closer' to Murray. Or rather a chance to win prizes and gain access to the exclusive content.

The timing could not be better, with Wimbledon just around the corner. In fact, some lucky Facebook devotees will even get a namecheck on the snarly Scot's tennis racquet bag during the tournament, premusing he does not get knocked out in the opening rounds, of course.

But the question remains: is the ad enough to make you like Andy Murray?
