Amy Winehouse died at the weekend. Set on a well-documented path of self-destruction, the tragic songbird finally succumbed to her demons on Saturday.

The Back to Black singer was found at her North London home. She was only 27.

Her death follows a much-chronicled descent into addiction, including a recent gig where she was booed off stage after she appeared drunk.

Her sad demise has led to massive outpouring of grief. There has been a major increase in sales of her records, Twitter has been inundated with tributes, while her music videos have been trending on the Viral Video Chart.
