See What Happens When Top Gear Goes Stateside

Tonight sees the return of a television behemoth - but in an all new setting.

Top Gear USA make its debut on BBC3 tonight, invading our shores with plenty of high octane, American-made muscle car action.

Looking at the trailer it seems we can expect all the things we love about the home-grown version of Top Gear, but with a liberal helping of American attitude.

The burn-outs, the breathtaking speeds, the ridiculous challenges, all washed down with a generous helping of three odd-looking blokes taking the mickey out of each other.

However, in this incarnation of the Top Gear brand, they are joined by high-fives, whooping and names like Ford, Chevrolet and Cadillac in place of the, more EU-friendly, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani.

Will a state side version of Britain's favourite motoring show drive audiences to BBC Three?

We'll all have to tune in at 7pm tonight to see if Tanner Foust, Adam Ferrara and Rutledge Wood can fill the shoes of Messrs Clarkson, Hammond, May and The Stig.

Patriotic American Celebrates The Death Of Bin Laden In The Most American Way – Riding An ATV While Firing His Handgun

If you though that there was nothing more American than apple pie, then think again.

With the downfall of Osama Bin Laden on Sunday, the internet has been trending with all kinds of videos related to America and the war on terror.

And when we say all kinds of videos, we mean all kinds. Videos from the Ground Zero celebrations to President Obama announcing that Bin Laden had been killed, to renditions of Team America’s F*** Yeah.

And now there is this: A man riding an ATV, flying the star spangled banner and firing his hand gun (below).

The video was uploaded on May 2, and has been seen close to 265,000 times already.

It does not get any more American than that.
