Peter The Elephant Promotes The Samsung Galaxy Note

Samsung has released an all new jumbo-sized campaign that features Peter the elephant in a moment of fame he will never forget!

The spot launched with the strapline 'Bigger Is Better', sees Peter play with the new Samsung Galaxy Note by using his trunk to navigate the device.

I'm not quite sure how the creatives for Samsung came up with this one, but low and behold, it works. You won't be able to look away as Peter plays the piano, selects songs, takes a photo and even uses the Samsung Galaxy Note 'S Pen'

How is he doing it? Elephants have finger-like lobes of muscle on the end of their trunks, filled with sensitive nerve endings, this allows Peter to make delicate movements that enable him to use the product.

This is clever advert from Samsung, not just because it's funny and likeable, but because it demonstrates the simplicity of the product - if an elephant can use it, so can you.

However, this is not the first animal we have seen using a smartphone, last year two viral videos saw a bearded dragon rack up a pretty decent score while playing 'Ant Crusher' on a HTC, and a certain Bullfrog getting his own back after his owners cruel prank.

Samsung may not be selling many devices to mammals like Peter, however, they are challenging Apple in the smartphone market, recently revealing that more than 5 million Galaxy Note devices had been shipped to retailers and other partners since their October launch.

The Peter the elephant ad has almost 2 million views on YouTube and has been shared over 4000 times. Take a look at Peter in action below.

Jamal Edwards And BBH Team Up For Recruitment Video

Jamal Edwards (pictured) is a welcome antidote to the barrage of stories we see every day about the UK's supposed disaffected youth.

While his peers were setting London alight and looting the capital's stores last summer, the 20-year-old Londoner was being touted as one of the web's brightest entrepreneurs after transforming his music channel SB.TV into the go-to destination for youth entertainment media and starring in a highly-successful ad campaign for Google Chrome.

He managed this with just a video camera his mum bought him for Christmas in 2007, when he was 16, and an internet connection.

So when one of the biggest ad agencies in the world needed a spokesman to help usher in some young, raw, homegrown talent through their doors, there was only one person for the job.

After all, BBH (Bartle Bogle Hegarty) and Edwards have worked together before - on the fantastic Google Chrome ad.

So the SB.TV founder was more than happy to pick up his mic and make a video for the London ad agency.

In it, he interviews some of the key creatives within the BBH London set-up, delving into the creative hub in his own unique style. He even has time for a game of ping-pong or two.

It's a fun watch, but don't take our word for it. Take a look below for yourselves. If you are interested in finding out more about working for BBH, click here.

Disclosure: Unruly is distributing this video on behalf of BBH. This post is not part of the commercial plan and is written by the editorial team at Unruly, whose opinions are always independent, sometimes scurrilous, and never knowingly under-researched.

Monster Of A Music Collaboration Does The Business For Converse

Converse has pulled together three artists for an impressive creative collaboration.

Gorillaz/Blur leadman Damon Albarn, one half of rap group OutKastAndre 3000, and LCD Soundsystem mastermind James Murphy have joined forces for a track called "Do Ya Thing".

The music video, which is hosted on Converse's YouTube channel, uses the distinct signature Gorillaz animation style we are accustomed to.

With over 600,000 views on YouTube in just one day (1.8 million altogether), we expect to see this video making its present felt on the Viral Video Chart for some time to come.

If you want to track the progress of the exceptional video you can do this right here

Google 'Roll-Out' New Google Maps Ad In Creative Fashion

Google has re-made the classic Labyrinth game as a handcrafted, real life version of Google Maps.

Built by Venables Bell & Partners and 1st Ave Machine, the video shows two players navigating a little blue ball through a modestly homemade cityscape as it checks in to places, rates businesses as it finds its way to its desired destination.

Now, this ad doesn't follow the usual Google advertising template, but change is good if you ask me.

There's even a little visualisation walkthrough online hosted by Google. So be sure to take a look at that as well as the ad below.

Latest Sushi Ad Takes Advertising To Intergalactic New Heights

We all know the incredible heights some companies will go to to promote themselves and their products, but this latest online video is truly out of this world.

It's from a small chain of restaurants called Sticky Rice, who has a long history of marketing their products their own way - and this one is no exception.

You see with a little help from RVA TV and Bark Marketing, Sticky Rice has launched a plate of sushi into outer-space. No, really. In fact, it wasn't any old sushi, it was rolls of Godzirra, their most popular dish.

The ever popular GoPro Hero camera was even used to record the footage of the fishy dish's assent, and you can watch it all below.

As you might imagine, a lot of variables were at play with this epic stunt. According to the team, 6 months of planning and testing went into the incredible project.

But it was worth it. Good work Sticky Rice on thinking outside the box.

Funny LG Commercial Reveals How The Fashion World Really Sucks

Now, I knew there was some serious smoke and mirrors going on in the fashion game. However, I never thought models would go this far to keep themselves looking trim.

Well, at least that is according to vacuum cleaner manufacturers LG's latest ad. In fact, it uses the power of their latest model to demonstrate how in their opinion models achieve their 'perfect' size 6 shape

You see, you may think it is all about eating the right things (or nothing at all) and exercising regularly, but on photoshoots models really have a man hidden behind sucking all the fat up, keeping them taut and tidy.

However, as soon as the photographer has his snaps, the vacuum cleaner comes off and so do the folds of fat.

Now as hilarious as this is, it doesn't work. So, ladies (and gents) put that vacuum cleaner back under the stairs and put that cream cake back in its box.
