Stars Come Out Shooting For Explosive Black Ops 2 Ad

The latest high-octane ad for Activision's long-awaited, action-packed, high-explosive shoot-em-up Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 features a surprising number of celebrities being blown to pieces.
Directed by Guy Ritchie, Surprise features a host of Hollywood and YouTube stars, including A-listers such as Robert Downey Jr and lots of actors who you know you have seen in something but can't just remember when.
Some of the celebs we did recognise, however, are: iJustine, as an axe-wielding assassin, French actor Omar Sy, and Kyle Myers, the gun nut 'Professional Russian' from FPS Russia, who makes a short-lived appearance with his famed machine gun quadrotors
Black Ops 2's explosive, time travelling storyline has already been teased with a documentary-style look back at the war of the future that you've not yet picked up your joystick to fight. So maybe it's a good thing 72andsunny have instead opted for big names and bigger explosions in the latest ad.
The the ass-kicking video has certainly had a strong start, garnering over 6 million views and 235,000 shares in just two days.
Surprise packs exciting action in with some truly humorous moments, and just enough confusion about who is beating who to keep from sinking into an uninteresting gorefest. We're still trying to work out who the guy in the orange shirt is. He looks a lot like Super Mario to us.
