Comedian Sings Siri A Song To Celebrate Its First Birthday

Sometimes people get lonely. But not iPhone users. If ever they need a friend, they know that at least they have Siri. This clip of comedian Johnathan Mann certainly proves that as he celebrates Siri's first birthday with a lovely duet.

Johnathan has become an internet celebrity after posting a comedic song on YouTube every day since January 1, 2009. When Siri first came about, he recorded a song with her (Duet with Siri (iPhone 4S)), which is along the same kind of love theme.

Using the new iPhone 5, Johnathan starts off by wishing Siri a happy birthday and the conversation continues, in song. Johnathan asks question after question and Siri replies in her very diplomatic fashion. Responding to "Do you love me?" she tells Johnathan "Let's just say you have my utmost admiration"

He asks a lot more personal, innappropriate questions.  Then he breaks into "WHO LET THE DOGS OUT?", to which Siri amusingly replies "Who? Who? Who?".

It is amazing what you can do on a phone these days. Although anyone who has an iPhone 4S or 5 can agree that Siri definitely does get it wrong about 50% of the time. Johnathan actually has a section where he asks Siri why she doesn't work from time to time. We finally have our answer as Siri explains, "Well English isn't my first language". Aha. Now we know. Next time I'll try Scottish. D'oh!

The whole concept to this clip is very random but actually turns into quite a catchy song. You can buy it on iTunes now too. This clip has somehow generated 33,229 views and 2,621 shares in the two days it has been online. I have a feeling that there is more to come...

So next time you are lonely, just have a little chat with Siri, who is sure to make you feel better. Or maybe not. Maybe just get some mates instead.
