Danes Really Love Their Buses...Apparently

Denmark was once famous for its bacon and a beer so good they didn't want to share it with the world. Now the Danes have something else to get excited about, and they are getting really, really excited about it.

In the UK we complain about having to wait ages for a bus, and then three arrive at once. In Denmark only the one bus shows up, and it's absolutely brilliant.

This ad for bus company Midttrafik sees a gaggle of Danes huddled by the side of the road, eagerly awaiting the 223 to Silkeborg. When it shows up, they go nuts, swapping high fives, jumping for joy and fighting to get to the door first.

Why are they so excited? Well, as the clip explains, the driver is cool, the seats are very nice and the windows are gigantic. All of which seems to get the Danes very, very excited.

They fight down the aisles, hug the seats and caress the windows as the bus rolls through town. The passengers carry on celebrating, amazed by "designer bells with cool functions" and, well, handles.

The bus continues its journey, prompting excited bystanders to admire it's size, be jealous of the bus' own lane and be amazed as it spins donuts in the local car park. This isn't just a mode of transport, it's pure awesome on wheels. It even drives at night, when the driver is just as cool as ever.

Put together by M2Film, the clip has garnered over 27,500 views in just four days. With nearly 3,000 shares and blog posts spreading the word about this hilarious ad, it's bound to win even more attention.

Midttrafik could havea problem soon, it looks like the entire world will soon by trying to flag down one of their amazing buses.
