Grandfather's High-Flying Magic Trick Wows Youngster

In a small village in rural Norway there's a grizzled, old man with magical powers and a twinkle in his eye. At least, that's how his grandson thinks of him.
This ad for short-haul airline Wideroe stars a young lad begging his elderly grandpa to perform his magic trick. Frustratingly, the old man refuses to.
He shakes his head, sips his tea, cleans his glasses and drives the youngster mad.
Suddenly Grandpa sits up, tilts his ear to the wind and starts his performance. His hands shake, he rubs them together, he blows on them and turns to the sky...and out flies a plane.
The old man was stalling until he heard the engines approaching. Not that his grandson has worked it out.
Put together by McCann Oslo and Norwegian filmmaker Marius Holst, the clip has earned nearly 30,000 views since it was launched five days ago.
While it may not have had such a successful take-off, bloggers are singing the praises of this simple tale of one boy's imagination and his grandfather's sense of fun.
