Muhammad Ali Is The New Face Of Louis Vuitton

It's been a big week for rap/fashion collaborations. First Azealia Banks was revealed as the new face of T by Alexander Wang. Now Mos Def portrays Muhammad Ali in Louis Vuitton's latest Core Values campaign.
The two film spots show the American actor and MC, also known as Yasiin Bey, reciting powerful pieces from some of Ali's most famous interviews from a boxing ring.
Inside the ring, graphic designer Niels Show Muelman splashes clumsy streaks of ink into beautifully intricate calligraphy as Bey acts around him, capturing the charming arrogance of Ali's prime.
An accompanying print ad features Ali, now 70, with one of his grandsons in Phoenix, Arizona. The young boy stands in boxing gloves above the text 'Some stars show you the way'.
The boxer follows the likes of Angelina Jolie, Keith Richards and Bono as the face of this classic campaign, and the inspiring videos have collectively racked up over 10,000 shares in a week.
