Lego Animation Shows Team USA's Fab Fives Vault To Gold

The women's gymnastics finals is one of the Olympics' most loved events. Whether it's the tight lycra or the gravity defying stunts, there's something for everyone.
After Team USA's 'Fab Five' won the gold this week, the world went mad for McKayla Maroney's near-perfect vault.
It was the first time the US had won an all-round team medal since 1996, and The Guardian have released 'Brick By Brick' a Lego reenactment for anybody who missed the legendary moment.
Produced by PHD, the animated reconstruction shows the tense competition between America and Russia, with Maroney's performance ultimately stealing the show.
Launched only yesterday, the clip has already racked up over 27,140 views and 3,620 shares.
The chunky, plastic athletes in this film probably prove it isn't just the skimpy outfits that fuel our love for gymnastics after all.
