Call Me Monkey - Gorilla Takes On Carly Rae Jepsen

It seems everyone online has sung their own version of hit song Call Me Maybe, so it seems only fair that a stuffed gorilla should get in on the act.
Gorilla is a puppet character from YouTube comedy channel Glove And Boots. He's not known for his musical talent, but then again neither are Barack Obama, the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders or the Harvard baseball team.
The web is packed with covers of Carly Rae-Jepson's hit song, but Gorilla has had enough. You see, by compiling many of the famous ones together and appearing in them himself, he hopes to prevent any more coming out.
Unfortunately for Gorilla, his limited vocabulary isn't in his favour. He can only say one word, "meh". This seems like it would ruin his attempt at a competent cover, but it makes the clip all the worth while.
It's surprisingly funny to watch Gorilla grunt his way through the catchy pop tune while dancing with the cheerleaders, posing with Abercrombie & Fitch models and in the studio with Tay Zonday.
The clip has garnered nearly 270,000 views since it was released 6 days ago and the web seems to love it, sharing it over 7,300 times.
Gorilla may not be able to stop the covers coming out, but he's certainly created one of the funniest yet.
