Walrus-Snogging Weirdness In Latest Skittles Ad

You know you're having a bad day when you come home to find your best friend making out with your boyfriend. Especially when your boyfriend is a walrus that weighs over a tonne. But it's all OK, as your best friend says, "it's not what it looks like".

Skittles' latest ad features just such a scenario, but the new Riddles variety means that it's probably not your walrus-friend with the wandering flippers.

Just like Skittles Riddles, which look like one flavour but are actually another, this walrus looks like a walrus, but isn't actually a walrus. Which makes it perfectly fine to play tonsil hockey with the giant marine mammal.

The slightly fishy ad, put together by DDB, has won nearly 24,000 views in just two days. There's been a bit of excitement online about the tongue-on-tusk action, winning the clip over 650 shares and mentions on blogs and articles.

It may not "be what it looks like", but the ad certainly is flipper-clappingly funny.
