New Laptop Conquers Ye Olde Tech In Medieval Intel Ad
Your boss may think of himself as king of the boardroom, commanding unflinching loyalty from his grovelling peons, but if his tech skills are also stuck in the Dark Ages, he could learn something from this ad.
Intel's latest time-travelling epic for its Ultrabook laptop sees a meeting of the round table disrupted by the king's out-of-date hardware.
The Ultrabook has already shot it out with some cowboys, who were quick on the draw, but had painfully slow internet connection. Now the laptop has travelled even further back in time to a meeting of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.
Unfortunately for the King of the Britons, his archaic equipment brings the meeting to a shuddering halt. Just as the knights consider surrendering and calling the helpline, in walks their saviour.
It "shines like Excalibur and is thinner than a wizard's wand", it's not just any old magical device, it's an Ultrabook. The castle walls fade to a modern boardroom, showing off that next to the Ultrabook, everything else looks old-fashioned.
Put together by Interlude New York, the ad has swept its way to over 31,000 views in just eight days. The second installment of a three-part series, the Round Table ad has won over 24,200 shares.
This hilarious ad has charged its way across the web quicker than a jousting knight on his noble steed.
