Corgi Ruins The Royal Breakfast In Ma'amite Ad

As Britain clears away its street parties and takes down miles upon miles of bunting, the Queen is unwinding from a weekend of revelry with an undeniably British breakfast: Marmite on toast.

As British as it may be, Marmite has long divided the country, earning equal numbers of loyal fans and disgusted critics. It seems the Royal Household has both.

As a fan, the monarch's marmite is a little bit special, it's Ma'amite. The special edition spread is adorned with the Union Flag and regal print, it's an elegant addition to one's morning meal.

Of course, there's at least one Marmite-ophobe on the prowl, and this one is far from palace-broken. As cute and cuddly as the Queen's favourite dogs are, this corgi will go to any lengths to show its dislike of Marmite.

As the Royal Breakfast sits outside Her Majesty's bedroom door, the marauding mutt closes in. He is so disgusted at mistakenly nibbling on Marmite that he cocks a leg and ahem...

...One will not be amused.

The ad, by DDB UK, was released at the start of Jubilee weekend and is still proving popular, earning 26,000 views and 7,900 shares in just 5 days. 

This cheeky ad may have been filmed with the Jubilee Weekend in mind, but thanks to a large dose of cheeky British humour, we predict this ad will continue to reign for sometime yet.
