Nike Celebrate Lebron James' Rise To Glory In Nike 'Ringmaker' Ad

Lebron James is one of the most talented, versatile and well-respected players ever to don an NBA vest, but after nine years of top flight basketball, he's only just won a championship. Now, Nike is celebrating James' rise to glory.

He's known as "King James", but it's taken Lebron James nearly a decade to win an NBA championship. Nike's new Ringmaker ad follows James' career from promising youngster to champion through the eyes of a basketball crazy jeweler.

Ron first spots James as a high school basketball player and knows he's destined for big things. Ron immediately goes to work crafting the spectacular championship ring that James is destined, one day, to win.

Ron continues working on the ring as James' career develops, joining the Cleveland Cavaliers and taking them to a championship final. The Cavaliers lose the final, but Ron continues working, watching King James becoming a more powerful player than ever before.

The ring starts to take shape as James transfers to the Miami Heat and is completed in spectacular fashion just in time for the Heat's 2012 championship win. 

Put together by Wieden + Kennedy, the ad has earned over 865,000 views since it was launched just five days ago. With nearly 80,000 shares, the ad has become a spectacular hit online.

This ad isn't so much a commercial as inviting
