Pessimistic PSA Warns About All The Problems You Can't Solve - And One You Can

Infantile baldness, kangaroo impotence and double-sided cat hair rollers do not seem like the kind of problems normally associated with PSAs, but then this video is not your normal PSA.

Presented by former Saturday Night Live comic Kevin Nealon, the ad features the funnyman introducing a range of ridiculous topics, all with serious, earnest sincerity.

Nealon warns us about the dangers of Canadians, about there being too many whales and how it's all your fault that people text while scuba diving. It's funny, it's overwhelming and it's all too silly to be true. Or is it?

Nealon is actually here to encourage pet owners to spay or neuter their animals. Which is all very good advice, but not much fun. 

Put together by TBWA\Chiat\Day, the clip backs a campaign called No Kill Los Angeles, which aims to control animal numbers and ease pressures on shelters. Earning over 300 views since it was launched yesterday, the clip has generated a lot of attention in articles and blogs.

We predict this ad will spread quicker than turf toe once it gets going.
