Bad-Man Balotelli Stars In Hair-Raising New Spot For Nike

Nike is starting to dominate the online buzz ahead of the European Championships.

My Time Is Now, an advert we blogged about yesterday, has already racked up an incredible 514,000 shares in just a few days.

Now Nike has released a follow-up commercial, which features Manchester City's hothead Mario Balotelli flaunting several different legendary football hairdos.

Mario Balotelli's erratic antics on the football pitch may not have done him many favours this season but his dodgy hairdos certainly have!

The comical spot features the Italian striker entering the barbers for a quick trim as the hairdresser tries out several famous hairstyles, including Columbian Carlos Valderrama's legendary mop, Ronaldo’s dodgy front triangle and Neymar’s mullet.

Balotelli is often known for his stand-out Mohican with shaved sides, and it is no surprise he settles for that exact look as he leaves the shop, but not before bumping into France’s Mamadou Sakho on his way out - also no surprise there.

Much like the other adverts featured in the 'My Time Is Now' campaign, the spot has an interactive element to it. The spot allows you to click through to 'Get Your Hairstyle' on Nike's Facebook page, letting you apply certain crazy footballer's hairstyles to a photo of yourself.

The advert has already been viewed over 500,000 times and shared on 24,000 occasions.
