Controversial Red Bull 'Jesus' Ad Is Banned From TV

Red Bull this week launched its latest advert from their 'Red Bull Gives You Wings' campaign.
Due to run in South Africa, the advert's TV life, however, was short-lived as it was voluntary discontinued following a backlash from the religious community.
The 30-second animated TV spot features Jesus walking on water. His companions ask him how he is managing it, whether he's had a Red Bull or if it's another miracle, to which Jesus responds that it is no miracle and that you "simply have to know where the stepping stones are".
The brand received a number of complaints from both Christians and Muslims in South Africa.
However, the ad, which has been viewed over 100,000 times, could well find a new home online.
