Can An Advert For Drain Cleaner Really Be Sexy?

Everyone knows that sex sells, but can it really do its magic on drain cleaner? 

Liquid Plumr certainly seem to think so. Their latest ad has more sexual innuendos than the average Carry On film. 

Now, this is no mean feat. After all, this is a commercial for a product which you buy when your sink or shower drain gets too full of filth, hair, grime and everything else disgusting. Not exactly a sexy picture, is it? 

But then, with a little marketing magic, the clever creatives behind the campaign have successfully sex'd it up a notch or two. Oh, and before you start! Yes, it really is an official ad. 

Whether this effort causes a rush to the domestic products isle in your local supermarket, we will just have to wait and see.

But it's a pretty good effort. The video has already attracted over 500,000 views on YouTube since it was uploaded on February 9.
