Samsung Introduces Galaxy Note II To Just About Everyone

Your phone might let you call one or two people at a time. You can also use it to post messages to all your Facebook friends. But imagine being able to reach millions of people with your phone? That's what Samsung has just done.

Well, not quite. The Korean tech giant launched its latest smartphone, the Galaxy Note II, just 7 days ago in the UK and it's already got gadget geeks seriously stoked.

The phone-tablet hybrid design gives users a bigger screen in a smaller handset and unprecedented control over multi-tasking and sharing documents.

But perhaps the most impressive thing  about the Galaxy Note II is its introduction ad. Firstly, it takes over eight minutes to demonstrate the phone's revolutionary features, which makes it an epic ad. Even more epic is the number of people who have watched the marathon clip.

The video has earned over 13.1 million views since it was launched just 3 days ago. We're going to put that number into context; 13.1 million people is more than 0.19% of the world's population, it's bigger than the population of Zambia and it's just a little bit short of all the people who live in Greater London.

Even staunch iPhone fans have to admit, those are impressive numbers.

Disclosure: Unruly is distributing this video on behalf of Samsung. This post is not part of the commercial plan and is written by the editorial team at Unruly, whose opinions are- always independent, sometimes scurrilous, and never knowingly under-researched.
