Shocking Video Footage Of The Devastation Caused By Japanese Earthquake And Tsunami

Shocking video footage of the devastation caused by the biggest earthquake on record to hit Japan has been trending on the Viral Video Chart over the last few days.

Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan described the situation as the worst hardships his country has faced since World War II as it tackles the aftermath of the quake, the resulting tsunami and a growing nuclear crisis.

Thousands of people were left dead or missing after the tremor triggered a tsunami that swept through cities, towns and villages on Friday. Tens of thousands are still missing.

To make matters worse, the situation at Fukushima nuclear plant - one of the many plants affected by the quake - remains grave, two days after an explosion at a reactor.
