The Muppets, Queen And David Bowie Hang Out In Ad For Google+

What happens when when The Muppets, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie and search giant Google hang out? Well, it may sound the start of some terrible joke - but the answer is advertising gold.

Google are desperately trying to plug Google+ feature, Hangout, and have recruited Kermit and his mates to show how it is done.

The result? A pretty cool commercial that also features Queen (and David Bowie) track Under Pressure. 

Google has also released an ad featuring former NBA players Bill Walton, Kenny Smith, Spero Dedes, Steve Kerr and Jon Barry, but, unsuprisingly, it has not done as well as The Muppets clip, which has so far racked up almost 140,000 views on YouTube.

Of course, it is not the first time The Muppets have teamed up with Google. Back in September to honour the 75th birthday of Jim Henson, the search engine giant partnered with The Jim Henson Company and The Creature Shop to create an interactive Google Doodle.
